Not much cricket happening for the next two days. More time for Kabaddi now. We are in the month of October. Closer to the next round. The status of the teams on the Pro Kabaddi table matter big time now. It is time for the teams to keep an eye on their ranks all the time now. No pressure :)
Let’s take a look at the table. The top three teams in each zone make it to the next level. The points were very close at one point and then apart. Some teams have been super consistent doing well and others, consistently at the bottom of the table. Team A has four teams who are fighting for the next level big time - Gujarat Fortune Giants, Haryana Steelers, Puneri Paltan and U Mumba. Jaipur Pink Panthers and Dabang Delhi are closer to the bottom and will have to do really really well to make a difference. Zone B - the bottom two teams - Bengaluru Bulls and Tamil Thalaivas are not looking too hot. The top four teams are Patna Pirates, Bengal Warriors, U.P.Yoddha and Telugu Titans.
In a crux, any of the top four teams of the two zones stand a change. That’s the way I see it.
Mumbai - Haryana. This match will make a big difference. Both teams are in the running for the top spot with Haryana second and Mumbai fourth. If Haryana win, they might go to the top, increasing the gap between the two teams. If Mumbai win, the competition becomes tighter and more exciting.
