Editor’s Pick (KPL): Mysuru Warriors - Bijapur Bulls

Two matches down in this series. One won fair and square. The other was interrupted by the rain and the match was reduced to eight overs per side. Mysore Warriors won by 38 rains. Bengaluru Blasters could manage to make only 46 as opposed to a required target of 84. Arjun Hoysala was declared the man of the match.

Editor’s Pick (Nidahas T20): India - Sri Lanka

The table is currently in a very surprising situation. Most expected Sri Lanka to show Bangladesh the door. But here they are still standing up and shining. The tournament is wide open. Today’s match is between India and Sri Lanka. The stakes are much higher now that Bangladesh is more feared than before. The teams would not want to risk anything at this point. Earlier I had said that they might experiment with the lineup and give everyone a chance. Now it will be more than giving people a chance. They will strategize. The Indian team will be open to experimentation, but not at the cost of results. The untested ones are Deepak Hooda, KL Rahul, and Axar Patel. India has lost to Sri Lanka in their first encounter of this tournament. They will want to be wary because another defeat could cost them the tournament itself. So, not all the new players will see the light today. A lot depends on Rohit Sharma today. Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina, Manish Pandey and Dinesh Karthik w

Editor’s Pick (PSL T20): Multan Sultans - Islamabad United

PSL 25 Multan Sultans would now wonder what on earth happened. They are still doing well. They are still only one point short of the team that is on top of the table. They are still fourth on the table. With a bad run rate of -0.004. They need to get back on top. Islamabad United, on the other hand, is second on the table and quite pleased with themselves. Defending Champions are second to last on the table and have no idea what happened either. They probably do. Lahore Qalandars are showing signs of life now having won the second match by taking it to the super over level. (Lahore Qalandars defeated Karachi Kings). That was really something. Goes to show that we can neither sign off a team until the last minute nor guarantee that the defending champions are a shoo-in for the next round. Today’s match is between Multan Sultans and Islamabad United. With some brilliant performances being displayed by both teams, this match will be a good clash to watch. The venue moves to
