Editor’s Pick(TNPL): Karaikudi Kaalai - Thiruvallur Veerans

The Veerans have been doing pretty well considering. They are placed second on the table after Tuti Patriots and are getting ready to get on top of the table. Karaikudi Kaalai are not necessarily in good form. They have lost two out of three matches. This is a must win match for them and they need to win to stay in pursuit of the cup.
KK have some good players batting for them. S Anirudha did it for them consistently in two matches. He should be in your lineup. Captain Badrinath needs to pull his socks up. Mohan Prasath will be expected to do more as well with the ball. KK does not have a choice.
VTV on the other hand have two back to back wins now. The captain leads from the front. Rahil Shah has also proven to be valuable.

Editor’s Pick (Nidahas T20): India - Sri Lanka

The table is currently in a very surprising situation. Most expected Sri Lanka to show Bangladesh the door. But here they are still standing up and shining. The tournament is wide open. Today’s match is between India and Sri Lanka. The stakes are much higher now that Bangladesh is more feared than before. The teams would not want to risk anything at this point. Earlier I had said that they might experiment with the lineup and give everyone a chance. Now it will be more than giving people a chance. They will strategize. The Indian team will be open to experimentation, but not at the cost of results.

The untested ones are Deepak Hooda, KL Rahul, and Axar Patel. India has lost to Sri Lanka in their first encounter of this tournament. They will want to be wary because another defeat could cost them the tournament itself. So, not all the new players will see the light today.
A lot depends on Rohit Sharma today. Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina, Manish Pandey and Dinesh Karthik will chip in too.…

Chennai beats Mumbai and clinch thriller

It is not just about coming back. It is about the impact you make in the process. And Chennai team knows how to with a bang.  The Chennai team beat the home team by one wicket in what was an absolute sit-at-the-end-of-the-chair thriller. It was one of the best chases the tournament has seen and it most definitely won't be the last. The player who made the difference in the end - Jadhav - literally came back from the dead after retiring hurt to take his team to the finish line by hitting the ball in style with a six and a four.  Batting on one leg and playing an absolutely unbelievable shot, this player leveled the scores first with a six and finished the match with a four.
Key Points  MI has never won their opener since 2013.This was Chennai's first win against MI in an opener of this T20 League DRS used in the league for the first time Bravo: It was a great team effort. I want to dedicate this win to the CSK fan, they have waited long for it. I came very early. I …
